How do I import fonts into Procreate Dreams?
Typefaces and their fonts can be imported into Procreate Dreams using the Files app or within the Typography window In Procreate Dreams.
Procreate Dreams supports .otf, .ttf, and .ttc font formats.
Importing using Files app
Fonts can be copied or moved into your Procreate Dreams Font folder. This method is best if you’re importing multiple fonts.
Open the Files app
Tap Select (top right of Files app window)
Tap the font files you want to import
Tap Move or Copy (bottom of Files app window)
In Files, navigate to Procreate Dreams → Fonts
Tap Move or Copy (top right of Files App)
The typefaces and their fonts will now be selectable in the Typography window in Procreate Dreams.
Heads Up
You can also drag and drop files into your Procreate Dreams folder using Split View.
Importing fonts within Procreate Dreams
You can import one font at a time within the Text style option menu. You’ll need to add some text content to your movie and open the Edit style menu
Create or open a movie from the Theater.
Tap Add
Tap Text
Double-tap the text that has been added to the stage (or touch and hold on the text content on the Timeline and select Edit Text ).
Tap Edit style.
Tap Import within the Typography menu that has appeared (above the text Color wheel).
Navigate to where your font is saved on your iPad and tap it to import.
The typeface and its fonts will now be selectable in the Typography menu (accessible through Edit style).
