What’s the latest version of Procreate Dreams?
The current version of Procreate Dreams is 1.0.13 and requires iPadOS 16.3 or later.
How do I update Procreate Dreams?
To update Procreate Dreams:
Open the App Store.
Tap on your profile picture in the top-right to access your Account menu.
You’ll see a list of updates available. Tap the Update button next to Procreate Dreams.
If you're not sure whether your app is up to date, open your copy of Procreate Dreams. In the Gallery, tap the words ‘Procreate Dreams’ in the top-left corner to view your version number. Compare this to the version in the App Store.
Is Procreate Dreams supported on my iPad?

Is Procreate Dreams subscription based?

Can I use Procreate files in Procreate Dreams?
Any Procreate document can be imported into a Procreate Dreams movie. Procreate documents retain their layers within Procreate Dreams and can continue to be edited, taking full advantage of the Procreate drawing engine.
How do I animate?
There are three ways to animate content in Procreate Dreams: drawing frame-by-frame , keyframing , and Performing . You can combine these animation techniques and apply them to different types of content to create incredible effects. Read more about animating in Procreate Dreams in the Handbook .
What file formats can I export?
Procreate Dreams supports exporting in a number of common video and image formats. Learn more about supported export formats .
What file formats can I import?
Procreate Dreams supports a range of audio, video, and image formats that can be imported for use in your movie. For a complete list, check out the Content Types page in the product handbook.
What’s the largest video resolution I can import?
The highest video resolution that Procreate Dreams can import is dependent on your iPad model. Refer to the iPad Compatibility article to learn more.
Is Procreate Dreams a free update for my Procreate app?
No, Procreate Dreams is a stand-alone app, separate from Procreate. If you would like to install Procreate Dreams you can purchase it from the App Store on your iPad. Both apps are a one-time purchase and do not require an ongoing subscription or offer any in-app purchases.
If I already have Procreate, do I get Procreate Dreams for free?
Procreate and Procreate Dreams are developed and sold separately. You can buy each app as a one-time purchase from the App Store on your iPad.
Do I need Procreate to use Procreate Dreams?

Can I use Procreate Dreams for illustration?
Procreate Dreams gives you access to the entire Procreate brush library and you may import any .brush currently supported in Procreate. You can bring any artwork you create in Procreate to life through animation in Procreate Dreams. Because Procreate Dreams is designed as an animation app, certain painting features will remain exclusive to Procreate, such as Brush Studio.
What’s the difference between Procreate and Procreate Dreams?
Procreate is designed for digital painting and illustration, while Procreate Dreams is made for 2D animation and motion graphics.
Can I use the animation and motion graphics I make in Procreate Dreams commercially?
Any art you create with the tools that come with Procreate Dreams is your content. You can use it however you like. Of course, we'd love it if you let people know you used our app to create it. Procreate Dreams itself, its graphics, and the included example artworks are protected by copyright and may not be used commercially or distributed without permission.
Procreate, Procreate Pocket, and Procreate Dreams come bundled with the fonts Eina 01, Impact, and Jack Armstrong BB. These fonts are licensed for personal use only. Smiley Sans is also included in the apps under an open font license, and you may use this font for personal and commercial use
Other fonts in our apps may be system fonts or fonts you have downloaded to your device. If you would like to use a font in your work, it is your responsibility to check whether a suitable license is available for your intended use.
What languages are supported in Procreate Dreams?
English, Arabic, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Thai, Traditional Chinese, Turkish.
You can set this in PadOS Settings → Procreate Dreams → Preferred Language.
