Redesigned Flipbook

Our Flipbook now supports multiple tracks and properties, enabling you to create several frame-by-frame animation tracks contained within one entity.

Layer a number of animations together to create motion, and quickly modify the timings of your frames and the blending and order of your tracks.

Selections and Transform

We completely rebuilt painting in Procreate Dreams 2. This means that you can now use Selection and Transform tools to isolate and modify parts of your content while in a Drawing or Flipbook:

Lasso, move, rotate, stretch, skew, shear and warp to your heart's content. We've also reworked the drawing area to allow you more precision and control, for a pixel perfect painting experience.

Brush libraries and 180 new Animation Brushes

Kyle T. Webster is back at it with the help of the crew, and we've 180 new animation-centric brushes to your libraries. Pencils, graphics, inks, chalks, washes, boil brushes, there's a whole new kit to play with!

We're also upgrading your existing brush libraries and providing you with Brush Search and better organization. Sync your brushes with iCloud Drive, and drag and drop import entire libraries into Procreate Dreams.

Customizable Keyboard Shortcuts

Hook up a keyboard and customize a whole array of shortcuts designed to massively speed up your workflow in Procreate Dreams.

A GIF from us to you

We wanted to push a much-loved internet staple into the future, so we built a new GIF export system from scratch.

Enjoy nice smooth (or crunchy!) dithering, and custom palettes to creatively modify your movie when exporting.

Transparent video import and export

No background? No problem. Import and export HEVC and ProRes 4444 footage that is alpha-aware.

Multi-Select - a new way to edit

Use Multi-select on the Timeline to make quick sweeping changes to heaps of content at once. Use it in Flipbook to shift, organise, and retime your frames:

Move and modify multiple tracks, keyframes, and pieces of content at once. Combine many elements into a Flipbook with Multi-select > long hold on content > Convert to Flipbook.

Other goodies

1. Luminance Masks - mask or reveal content based on the luma values of your drawings, Flipbooks, and videos. This provides a nice way to mask that is more accurate to our eyes

2. Brush Size Memory - mark points for the size and opacity of your favourite brushes, to keep things consistent

3. Layer merging - pinch your Drawing Layers together to merge them

4. A new look and a modular design - a new UI with Modes designed to make creating and compositing much easier. Drag the edge of your movie to change its duration, and drag a single finger along the ruler to change the timescale. Also, resize your Timeline/Stage ratio by dragging the central toolbar up and down
