Warp and distort are effective ways to animate your illustrations, text, photos, or video using keyframing or performing. Apply them to content by tapping the Playhead and tap Move to open the Motion menu.

Either warp or distort can be applied to a single piece of content but not both. However, you can apply them to different pieces of content on the same track.

Remove existing warp or distort keyframe tracks

If you’d like to apply the distort or warp effect and are encountering the message, ‘Warp and distort cannot be used at the same time,’ follow these steps:

1. Locate the warp or distort keyframe track applied to the content (it will be beneath the track your content is on).

2. Tap and hold on the keyframe track (choose an empty spot that doesn’t have any keyframes on it).

3. From the context menu, tap Delete Warp or Delete Distort .

With the existing warp or distort effect removed, you’re able to apply either effect to the content.
