Where did my fonts go?
Procreate, Procreate Dreams, and Procreate Pocket are undergoing changes to fonts in 2026.
Procreate and Procreate Pocket will have two fonts removed with a patch in late March. Procreate Dreams will have the same fonts removed at a later point. The fonts being removed are Eina 01 and Jack Armstrong BB.
Procreate, Procreate Dreams, and Procreate Pocket will also have 25 new fonts added with the patch in March. See this section for the fonts added.
Why do I see a pop-up about my text?
If you are using Eina 01 or Jack Armstrong BB in a canvas, a pop-up will appear whenever you attempt to edit the characters or style of that text. It will also happen when using raster tools (like Transform) on the text.
This pop-up gives you control over how to handle the text now that the font is no longer available. The three options it provides are detailed below.
Close the pop-up and return you to the canvas. The pop-up will reappear if you make further attempts to edit the text characters or style.
Flatten the text content into pixels so you can retain how it looks. Keep in mind this means you will no longer be able to edit the characters or style.
Replace the font with one that provides a similar experience. After your font changes, the text styling menu will appear in case you'd like to make any changes to the characters and styling.
Eina 01 is replaced with Poppins.
Jack Armstrong BB is replaced with TroubleSide.
Heads Up
Replace will attempt to as closely match the styling and weightings of your text as possible, but you can expect some variation due to the different fonts.
My text is different whenever I create a new Text Layer
When you create a new Text Layer in Procreate, Procreate Dreams, or Procreate Pocket, the font will be automatically set to Helvetica Neue.
Previously the default font was Eina 01. This is why you will notice a difference after updating if you have previously used the Text tools in our apps.
How do I replace or rasterise all my text layers at once?
If you'd like to rasterise or replace (the fonts of) multiple text layers at once, open up the Layers interface, swipe from left to right on all of the text layers, then enter the Transform tool. This will summon the pop-up and allow you to rasterise or replace the fonts together.
