How to use Family Sharing with Procreate
Procreate fully supports Apple’s Family Sharing feature. This allows you and up to five other family members to share access to purchased apps such as Procreate.
If you have Family Sharing set up but are having difficulty locating Procreate, try the following.
Search for Procreate within the Purchased section of App Store
Open App Store.
Navigate to your Apple ID in the top right.
Open Purchased and tap the family member who purchased Procreate (or tap My Purchases if you purchased it).
Search for Procreate in All and Not on this iPad.
If you locate Procreate, tap the cloud download icon to the right and the app will start downloading to your device.
Additional troubleshooting
Check that the Apple ID of the family member who purchased Procreate is added to Family Sharing. Go to Settings on your device and tap Family.
Check the family member who purchased Procreate is sharing purchases (tap their profile in Family Sharing list). If they are not, they will need to update the setting on their device.
Ask the Family Sharing organizer to remove and then add the Apple ID of the family member who purchased Procreate.
Check your internet connection.
Check that all Family Sharing members are properly signed into their Apple IDs.
