How to save and restore recovery points.
Recovery points are saved whenever you undo three or more steps and then perform an action in Procreate Dreams. Recovery points are saved in your Movie Settings under History as a thumbnail. When restored, you will be taken back to the point of the first undo you performed before the recovery point was saved. Procreate Dreams stores up to three Recovery points per movie, with new recovery points overwriting older ones.
Use recovery points to reload and resume working at the point in time when it was saved. This is useful should you accidentally undo too far and wish to return to a specific point in time in your movie. To load a recovery point you must export it as a .drm file and then open it in Procreate Dreams.
Heads Up
When you load a Recovery point it will not include any previously saved undo steps.
To save and restore a recovery point:
Tap your movie title to access Movie Settings and navigate to the History tab.
Tap the recovery point you wish to restore. You will have the option to Share or Delete the recovery point.
Tap Share → Save to Files.
In Files App, navigate to the folder Procreate Dreams → Theater and save. The movie file name will have a number added to the end to identify it as your recovery .drm file and avoid overwriting any existing files that share the same name.
