Which iPads are compatible with 3D Painting?
Any iPad officially supported by Procreate can be used for 3D Painting. However, only iPads with 4GB or more RAM will support 3D models with texture detail above 2K (2048 x 2048 px).
Heads Up
If you attempt to import a 3D model with textures higher than 2K on an incompatible iPad, you will see the following message: “The artwork exceeds this device's capabilities. A more powerful device is required to import this file.” To import the 3D Model, try a version with lower texture detail, or look at other factors such as polygon count.
