How do I make a Time-lapse video of my artwork?
Creating a time-lapse video of your artwork.
By default, both Procreate and Procreate Pocket record every action you make on your canvas as a frame of the video (except for undo actions). You don’t need to activate anything to record a time-lapse of your artwork.
Exporting time-lapse video
You can export a full-length time-lapse of your artwork showing every action. These can be very long and have a large file size. You can also export a 30-second time-lapse of your artwork which is an edited version showing selected highlights and will be a smaller file size.
To export a time-lapse video:
Tap Actions → Video → Export time-lapse video.
Select Full length or 30 Seconds.
Select where you would like to send or save the file.
Replay time-lapse video
To replay your time-lapse video on your canvas:
Tap Actions → Video → Time-lapse replay.
Control playback by sliding left or right on the canvas.
Turn off time-lapse video recording
If you don’t want to record your artwork as a time-lapse video:
Tap Actions → Video and toggle off Time-lapse Recording.
Pro Tip
You can customize the video quality of a time-lapse recording when creating a new custom canvas.
Heads Up
