Can’t use Apple Pencil in Procreate Dreams
If your Apple Pencil isn’t working in Procreate Dreams, first try heading to Movie Settings by tapping on the title of your movie. In here, tap on Preferences → Pressure and Smoothing, then tap on Reset all and confirm the reset.
This will ensure that your pressure and stabilisation settings are not impacting your ability to make a mark. You can raise the lower left node slightly to potentially help with pressure issues, but this shouldn't be necessary unless you have a particularly soft touch.
Heads Up
If your Apple Pencil leaves a glowing line on the Timeline, you may be in Timeline Edit Mode. Tap Done in the top right to exit Timeline Edit.
If you still have trouble after this, try the following steps.
Reconnect your Apple Pencil
The steps required to reconnect your Apple Pencil depend on which model of Apple Pencil you own.

There are two different ways to force your iPad to restart depending on your device model.
If your iPad doesn’t have a Home Button:
Quickly press and release the volume up button followed by the volume down button.
Press and hold the Power Button. When 'Slide to power off' appears, keep holding the Power Button until the Apple logo appears.
Release the button and wait for your iPad to restart.
If your iPad has a Home Button:
Press and hold the Home and Power buttons together until you see the Apple logo appear.
Release the buttons and wait for your iPad to restart.
