Why does my movie start playing automatically?

If you find your movie started playing unexpectedly, it may have been caused by flicking the Playhead quickly to the left of the Timeline. This gesture is a useful way to quickly start playing your movie from the beginning.

Your movie will start playing and then loop according to your playback settings in Timeline settings , either loop, ping pong, or one shot. Use the play or pause buttons in the main toolbar to start or stop playback.
