How to import brushes and brush sets
Procreate Dreams supports all of your custom and third-party brushes and brush sets from Procreate; they are files with the extension .brush and .brushset. You can drag and drop your brushes directly from Procreate, or from another app such as Files.
How to import brushes from Procreate
Follow these steps to drag and drop your favorite brushes directly from Procreate into Procreate Dreams:
Open Procreate Dreams with any movie open.
Tap the ellipsis at the center top of the iPad screen. If you can’t see the icon, tap anywhere on the screen to make it appear.
Tap Split View .
Select Procreate to open in Split View.
Open any artwork in Procreate.
Tap Brush to bring up Brush Library.
Tap and hold the brush or brush set you want to import.
Drag your selected brush or brush set onto the Stage in Procreate Dreams.
You will see the message ‘Importing’ and a tick to indicate import is complete.
If you import a single brush, it will appear in the brush set titled Imported. If you import a brush set, it will appear at the bottom of your brush set list.
How to import brushes from Files app
Follow these steps to drag and drop a brush or brush set from the Files app into Procreate Dreams:
Open Procreate Dreams with any movie open.
Tap the ellipses at the center top of the iPad screen.
Tap Split View .
Select Files app to open in Split View.
Navigate to the folder containing your brush file.
Drag and drop your brush file from Files onto the Stage in Procreate Dreams.
You will see the message ‘Importing’ and a tick to indicate import is complete.
If you import a single brush, it will appear in the brush set titled Imported. If you import a brush set, it will appear at the bottom of your brush set list.
