Procreate Dreams allows the nesting of groups with a maximum depth of 6 levels, meaning once you create a group on your Timeline, you can have 5 levels of groups beneath it.

Multiple groups can sit side-by-side at the same level inside a group, as long as the parent group is not exceeding the maximum depth of 6 levels.

Nesting groups adds a dynamic dimension to animation. It is particularly powerful when a group is nested within another, as the nested group inherits the motion and effects of the parent group, while still retaining its own unique properties.

The group nesting limit applies to all groups in Procreate Dreams, including groups in your Drawing Layers from imported Procreate files. If you are importing an artwork from Procreate, ensure it does not exceed more than 6 levels of nested groups.
