Track and content options

All content you create and import into Procreate Dreams appears on a track. Tap and hold a track to access the track options menu, and tap and hold on a piece of content to access the content options menu.

Track options

Access the track options context menu by tapping and holding an empty area of a track until the options menu appears.

Cut, copy, duplicate, or paste the selected track. Any cut/copied content will be sent to the clipboard.

Show all content on the track. Will reveal any hidden pieces of content.

Hide all content on the track itself. Can be reversed by selecting 'Show all' in the context menu above.

Remove a track and all its content.

Content options

Access the content options context menu by tapping and holding your content until the options menu appears.

Cut, copy, duplicate, and paste your content.

Alter the opacity of the selected content.

This is the overall opacity for the content - you can still keyframe or perform opacity changes, but they will be applied first, then this opacity percentage will apply to all of the keyframes.

Rename your content from its default title.

Help organize and visually differentiate your content by giving it a highlight color.

Blend modes alter the visual appearance of your content by adjusting the way it interacts with content below it on the Timeline.

If the track is within a group, a blend mode will only apply to tracks within that group. If you’d like a track to blend with tracks outside its group, tap and hold on the group, then tap Blend mode and choose Passthrough from the options.

Mask your content with either a clipping, alpha, or luminance mask.

This menu option will change depending on the content you have long-held on:

1. If you long-hold on a Flipbook, you will have the option to convert a Flipbook back to tracks.

2. If you long hold on a Group you will see the Ungroup option, which will remove the group container and return the tracks to the Timeline proper.

3. If you long-hold on a piece of content or a selection of content, you may see a 'Conversion to Flipbook' dialogue. This allows you to convert everything you have selected into a singular Flipbook.

Cut the content at the position of the Playhead. That position will be the start (the first frame) of the new piece of content.

Duplicate the content directly after itself on the same track.

Extend the duration of a piece of content to the end of a movie or the next piece of content.

Quickly access the options for the track your content is currently on.

Track options will allow you to Cut/Copy/Duplicate/Paste the track, Hide or Show it, and Delete the entire track.

Delete the selected content and all its associated keyframes.
