Tap, hold, and drag the content to move it along the Timeline.
Adjust content duration to change the timing of your movie and achieve perfect cuts.
Tap on the content, then tap again to bring up handles on the left and right edges.
Hold the left or right edge of the content you want to adjust so a red highlight appears on that edge.
Drag the edge horizontally left or right to adjust the duration of the content.
You can also simply tap and hold on the left or right edge of a piece of content, then drag left and right to shrink/expand it.
Trimming will stop when the maximum duration of the content is reached, or extending further would overwrite neighboring content on the same track. To continue trimming in this situation, use push/pull, as described below.
Trimming in Procreate Dreams is non-destructive. This means you can go back and extend the content if you change your mind later, and trimming content won't decrease the file size of your movie.
Content that exists immediately next to each other on the same track can be adjusted by pushing/pulling both tracks at once. This allows you to adjust the timing of content while keeping neighboring content in the same relative position.
Long hold the left or right edge of the content you want to push or pull until a red highlight appears on that edge.
Place a second finger on your screen.
Drag the edge horizontally left or right to adjust the duration of that content and push or pull adjacent content along the timeline.
You will know you are in Free Trim mode when it appears at the top of the interface.
You can modify content in different ways depending on the mode you're currently in.
When in Compose mode, move, rotate, stretch, and flip visual content on the Stage. Use Perform mode to record changes to your content, and use Keyframe mode to input and edit keyframes for it.
Move, scale and resize content on the Stage area.
Changing content in Compose mode does not affect your keyframes - it works independently of your keyframe data, allowing you to move elements and retain their properties.
Select your content on the Timeline, then tap on the Stage area to reveal the blue bounding box around your content.
Drag from within or outside the bounding box to move the content around on Stage and Backstage area.
Drag from a corner node to uniformly scale the content up or down.

Resize and stretch content using the corner nodes or bounding box.
Select your content on the Timeline, tap the Playhead and add a Move → Move and Scale keyframe.
Drag a corner node of the bounding box on the Stage to transform the content uniformly.
Drag the side of the bounding box to transform the content non-uniformly. Drag it beyond its opposite boundary to flip the content.
Drag the bounding box anywhere on the Stage or Backstage to change its position.
Drag the rotation handle above the content to rotate it clockwise or counter-clockwise.
In Compose mode, you rotate your content around its central point. In the Perform and Keyframe modes, set the anchor point for the content and rotate around that.

On the Stage, tap the corner node you wish to rotate from. A rotate handle will appear around the corner node.
Drag the rotate handle to rotate around the content’s anchor point .
The anchor point is the position that your content rotates around. Each item of content has its own anchor point.
The anchor point is only usable and relevant in the Perform and Keyframe modes - in Compose your content will always rotate around its very center.
Activate Perform or Keyframe mode at the bottom of the interface
Select your content on the Timeline, then tap the ellipses button in the top right-hand corner of the bounding box to open the transform options context menu
Tap Edit anchor . The current anchor point [anchor icon] will appear in the bounding box

Snap your content while translating, rotating, or scaling content on the Stage. You must be in Perform or Keyframe mode to use snapping.
When translating with snapping enabled, content snaps to the edges and center of the Stage. When rotating, content snaps in 30º increments around its anchor point .
To enable snapping, place a second finger on the screen while translating or rotating content in Perform or Keyframe mode.
Activate Perform or Keyframe mode at the bottom of the interface

Tap the arrow icon on a group to expand and collapse it. The arrow will rotate downwards to indicate when a group is open.
Once expanded, a group will show you all the tracks and content within.
You can tap on an individual piece of content within a group to edit it without affecting the rest of the group. You can also drag content in and out of a group or add extra tracks and content to a group by tapping the plus in the main toolbar and using the Create menu options.
You can move and adjust a group like any other content on the timeline.
Tap and hold a group until a context menu appears and tap Ungroup .
All the tracks and content within the group will expand out into individual tracks on your Timeline.
You can’t be in Multi-select if you wish to ungroup.
Using the steps above to select content with Multi-select, you can combine any content (sans audio) into a Flipbook. Use Multi-select, draw around content, then tap and hold on any selected element to bring up the content options menu. Tap Convert to Flipbook in here, and wait for Procreate Dreams to perform the conversion.
Read about how Procreate Dreams treats different content for Flipbook conversions in this article .
You can also convert a Flipbook back to tracks if you'd like to work on the content individually on tracks in the Timeline. To do this, tap and hold on a Flipbook on the Timeline, and select 'Convert Flipbook to tracks'.
