Sketch, ink, paint, color, shade, and texture in a wide variety of mediums to add pigment to your Stage. Explore the Brush Library for hundreds of unique brushes with a variety of textures and effects.
Tap the Brush tool to select it.
Tap the Brush tool again to select a brush from the Brush Library.

Use the two sliders in the left sidebar to adjust the size and opacity of your brushstrokes.
Tap and hold an unselected Paint , Smudge , or Erase icon to switch and transfer your current brush settings to your newly selected tool.
Double-tap your Apple Pencil to switch between tools in Paint & Draw. This will switch between your current tool and your previous tool.
Painting with Apple Pencil Pro unlocks the ability to rotate your brush as you make strokes using the barrel roll feature. This will rotate the stamp of the brush as you paint.
To clearly see the angle of your brush stamp while painting or using hover, switch on Brush cursor visibility in your Movie Settings’ preferences .

Find your most recently used brushes in the Recent set. Look here first when searching for brushes you regularly use.
Brush sets are sorted by medium and style in the left panel of the brush. Scroll the list to navigate all the brush sets. Tap a brush set to see the brushes it contains.
The right-hand panel of the Brush Library lists all available brushes in a selected brush set. The brush list displays the name of each brush and a preview of the stroke it makes. Tap a brush to start using it.
Import custom-made Procreate brushes and brush sets to expand your Brush Library.
To import a brush or brush set, drag and drop the brush file from another app onto the Stage or the brush library.
When a single brush is imported it will appear in the Imported brush set unless you've dragged it into a specific brush set in the brush library.
When a brush set is imported it will appear in the list of brush sets.

The default brush sets cover varying artistic styles of drawing and painting. From sketching, inking, and drawing through to painting, calligraphy, and airbrushing — most traditional styles are covered.
Procreate Dreams also features a range of abstract and textured brushes you can’t find in traditional art. You can find Weather Elements, Material textures, and lighting Luminance Brush Sets others within the Brush Library.
